19 October 2022 – The LGU Aritao aims to empower every household in the municipality to realize their full potential, which may help them obtain career opportunities or launch a business. Its goal is to train the residents in the municipality so that they can learn new skills and be able to make a livelihood out of it. Thus, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), in coordination with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of LGU Aritao, conducted a two-day skills training on October 18-19, 2022 for the 4H Club and FARIC. The event was held in the 4H Club Farm in Banganan, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.
The participants learned how to make doormats and pot holders which was facilitated by Ms. Celyne B. Gabol of Celyne’s Creations. It was attended also by the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Dr. Norman Jexter Flores, Executive Assistant Karlo Ordoñez, Reyna Lyn Maylas, DTI Representative Jonalyn L. Peralta, and some children who were keen to develop their doormat-making talents so they could greatly assist their parents.
