Land Area

The Municipality covers a total land area of 40,415 hectares spread out in 22 barangays, three of which are considered urban barangays namely Poblacion, Kirang, Banganan.  The municipal area is classified into alienable and disposable lands and forestlands with total area of 33,777 hectares.

The total land area of agriculture is 7,155.28 hectares representing 17.70% of the total land area of the municipality.
